Boulder Ridge Villas is the original DVC wing of Wilderness Lodge, a massive Pacific Northwest-style resort built to feel like a National Parks lodge of the 1900s. The theming is exceptional: towering stone fireplace, pine-scented lobby, a geyser that erupts outside on schedule. Wilderness Lodge has boat service to Magic Kingdom and one of the best resort pools at WDW. BRV units tend to be older and are smaller than the adjacent Copper Creek Villas. Buyers choose BRV for the lodge theming, lower resale prices relative to Contemporary or Polynesian, and a quieter, forested feel compared to the Epcot-area resorts.
